She Solidified the Place of Women in Country Music – Now, Pay Tribute to Patsy Cline
A memorable American singer, Patsy Cline was considered one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to successfully crossover into pop music. Florida Repertory Theatre is proud to remember the late songstress by presenting “Always...Patsy” this Saturday, October 12th.
Patsy Cline’s legendary voice and rise to stardom took America by storm, and in this loving tribute, her story comes from her biggest fan and unlikely friend, Louise Seger. From her early performances in dusty Texas honky-tonks to sold-out concerts at the Grand Ole Opry, Patsy’s music left an indelible mark on country music and American culture.
This musical tribute features all of her most-beloved songs, including the #1 Jukebox hit of all time, “Crazy”! More of Patsy’s biggest hits will include “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall to Pieces,” and more. Don’t miss out on this heartfelt and compelling true story on Saturday!
